The American Airlines FTA West Cooling Towers project consisted of the replacement of existing 50-year-old Cooling Towers with (6) new 1000 ton Cooling Towers that services the needs of American Airlines’ Flight Training Academy Classrooms, Simulator Buildings, Integrated Operations Center, Southern Reservations Office and Museum for American Airlines Headquarters. The new American Airlines FTA West Cooling Towers serve a total of 11 buildings housing different user groups with 24/7 operations for many of those groups. Overall project scope included installation of temporary Cooling Towers, demolition and replacement of existing Cooling Towers, piping, pumps and peripheral equipment.
